Resident Meeting for Uptown Parks

Citizens interested in the future of recreation and the environment in Uptown Charlotte are invited to join a residents' stakeholder meeting about a Center City Master Plan for Parks and Open Space. The meeting will occur September 18th, at 6:00p at Trinity Episcopal School, 750 East 9th Street.
Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation, Charlotte Center City Partners, PROS Consulting, and the Project for Public Spaces are collaborating to seek public participation in the plan. Goals of the plan are to integrate green lined streets, active public spaces, greenways and open spaces, establishing public parks and maximizing connections to cultural, hospitality, transit, and educational facilities. Resident input will be included in Parks and Recreation's 10-year Master Plan.
