Displaced professionals have a new resource to help them get back to work. The Professional Career Center opened its doors last week on the second floor at 525 North Tryon Street.
Part of the Charlotte Regional Recovery Initiative, convened by Governor Bev Perdue earlier this year to address the needs of displaced workers, the Professional Career Center is an Uptown Charlotte work environment with all the tools that job-seeking professionals need, from computer workstations and telephone access to conference/meeting space. The center also offers a wealth of support services, including daily workshops, entrepreneurial resources and individual career counseling.
