Speed Street 2010

"Food Lion Speed Street, the three-day festival scheduled for May 27 to May 29 and located in Charlotte, N.C., will entertain more than 400,000 fans in a new location.
Food Lion Speed Street will begin at Fifth Street and Tryon Street and extend south on Tryon Street to Martin Luther King Boulevard. The footprint also includes several blocks of Third Street between Tryon Street and Poplar Street (map).  A pedestrian corridor along Martin Luther King Boulevard will be available to reach the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
Numerous fan-friendly destinations will be included such as:

  • NASCAR Hall of Fame - 400 Martin Luther King Boulevard
  • Food Lion Kids Zone presented by General Mills - Tryon Street between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Third Street
  • Miller Lite Stage - Parking lot at the corner of Third Street and Poplar Street
  • Coca-Cola Stage - East Trade Street and Tryon Street

For fans attending the festival and visiting the NASCAR Hall of Fame, guests are encouraged to utilize Tryon Street to Martin Luther King Boulevard as the safest route to reach the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
